North the Label was born in 2023 on a dream to inspire other young women and create a sustainable, luxury and quality swimwear brand for women who thrive to live a bold and authentic life.

Growing up in Western Australia with the beach as her backyard, North's founder Grace quickly grew an undeniable love for the ocean.

Much like other girls her age, her swimwear draw overflowed and was forever growing, mixed with second hand bikinis she had brought off her friends, or high end, luxury pieces she had saved up weeks of pay to buy online.

Transitioning into the bustling pace of adulthood, she quickly realised that the conventional path of a 9-5 routine did not align with her desire to live a bold, passionate and vibrant life.

Grace says that her biggest inspiration to create a business of her own was unarguably her parents. Both being business owners themselves, Grace was raised to be a hard worker, to go after what she believed in, and to face the things that made her nervous.

At North the Label, Grace has woven her passion for the ocean and adventure into every stitch of her swimwear collections. Originally designed on her kitchen table with a pencil and paper in hand, every North Swim piece has been created with love and a hint of luxury, to not only be beautiful, but to be practical, comfortable and to last for seasons to come.

North the Label isn’t just a swimwear brand - it’s a movement towards a more connected, adventurous and mindful lifestyle.
